Maple Valley, WA is located south and east of the Seattle-Bellevue region and is considered a “bedroom community” of the metro area. The population was 28,013 at the 2020 census.

The Tahoma School district in Maple Valley is an award-winning district serving the greater Maple Valley area.

The city is home to over 300 acres of park space and over 10 miles of trails. Lake Wilderness Park is the crown jewel of Maple Valley featuring the beautiful, historic Lake Wilderness Lodge which is host to a number of special occasions throughout the year. Nearby you will find the Lake Wilderness Golf Course, a challenging 18-hole course that is fun for all ages. You will also find a frisbee golf course next to the King County Arboretum located in the Lake Wilderness area.
